Privacy policy
What is collected
With your consent, this site records an anonymous visit: which page you looked at, which tool you used and whether it worked, a coarse device type, browser and operating system, your country, and the site that sent you here. None of this is tied to your name, your email address, or any account - it is tied to an identifier that changes every day, built from your IP address and browser and mixed with a secret that also changes daily, so it can never be turned back into your IP address. Clicking to contact, email, or hire, and exporting a resume, are counted the same anonymous way - never with the message you sent, the address you sent it to, or the file you exported.
What is never collected
Your raw IP address is never stored. Files you process in any of this site's tools never leave your browser and are never uploaded anywhere - for a tool, only a rough size range and whether the action succeeded are recorded, never the file itself, its name, or its contents.
How long data is kept
Individual visit records - which pages and tools you used, one row per action - are kept for 30 days and then permanently deleted. A short summary of the visit as a whole (when it started, when it ended, how many pages) is kept a little longer, up to 90 days, then deleted too. After that, only anonymous daily totals remain - for example, "120 people viewed this page that day" - with nothing left that identifies a single visit.
Third parties
This site does not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics or advertising service, and visit data is never sold or shared with anyone. One exception: to work out your approximate country and suggest the right language, your IP address is sent to a country-lookup service (ipwho.is) the moment you arrive. That service is not given your name or anything else about you, and this site never stores your IP address afterward, whatever it returns.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, nothing is recorded for you at all, whatever choice you made on this page. You can also make that choice directly, in the notice shown the first time you visit, or change it anytime using the control further down this page. Clearing this site's cookies works too, and brings the first-visit notice back.
