How it works
Drop or choose your photo, then pick one or more sizes - Instagram, Facebook, and X presets are all listed.
Click your photo to set the focal point, so the part that matters stays in frame on every crop.
Download the zip - every size is named for its platform and placement.
Frequently asked questions
Each platform crops or stretches an image that's the wrong shape - a profile photo can end up cropped around the wrong part of a face, or a cover photo can look stretched. Exporting at the platform's own recommended size avoids both.
Platforms adjust their recommended sizes occasionally, so this table is kept current rather than treated as fixed forever - it's currently based on Hootsuite's own social media size guide, cross-checked where the platforms' own help pages agree.
Click anywhere on your photo (or use the arrow keys) to mark the part that matters most - a face, a logo, a product. Every size you export is cropped around that point instead of always the exact center.
Both, depending on the shape. If your photo's proportions already match a preset, it's a straight resize. If they don't - most of the time - the tool crops around your focal point to fill the target size without stretching.
No. Your photo is decoded, cropped, resized, and zipped entirely inside your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
